School keeping me busy. Work too.

It's been a while (5 months) from my last entry. Now summer is almost over and it has passed way too fast...
I'm doing some work here at my small and cozy bunker-apartment while London is ravaged with riots and the global stock market is crashing down like a set of porcelain tableware.

Anyway, I've been doing a small illustration project for children, 20 images to be precise. Also there's some prototype models I'm working on at school at the moment. So, I've been a busy bee and will post some images when the projects are finished and closed. A new draft of my portfolio should be done also until end of this month... This is not the summer holiday I intended this to be Luckily all the current work is fun to do so will not complain about the hurry!

PS. I also subscribed to the ImagineFX magazine and have recieved one issue already, I really like it, very useful and inspirational. I recommend if you do some digital, and why not traditional art too.

It looks like the first day of spring has finally arrived here. I've never been that fond of spring because of all the mud and dust it involves. But its a promise of the summer nevertheless.
School keeping me busy so 365 is definately on a break. I have figure drawing in school and some design projects that involve some drawing so I think any material from them will be dumped into the 365 folder later on.

The winter just seems to tighter its grip as the weather forecast promises nearly -40 degrees celsius around here soon. I love winter.

Im totally frustrated with my portfolio which I should be able to put together quite soon. Especially if I want to go anywhere as an exchange student. Its supposed to be a Designers portfolio but I dont really have that much material to put into it. I have some paintings and stuff but its supposed to contain alot of product design and such. We'll see...

We had this LED-lighting class and if I'd only finish the lamp I'm working on I could maybe add it to the portfolio with the ceramics we are currently working with.

365 -project is slowing down even more with various commissions I've been working with

Back to school next monday... The christmas holiday has been too long, I'm completely detached from every-day routines Waking up at afternoon and going to sleep around 8am Doing stuff whenever i feel like it :/ I gotta start practicing the 3d software stuff alot more this spring so I can implement 3d techniques into atmospherical and product concepts. 365 project has been a disaster, no way I have been able to produce a piece each day. However I'm trying to keep up and wont put a lid on the project until there's 365 pieces done.

The christmas bazaar is behind and things sold pretty well. Will post some pics about the stuff soonish. I should have taken them before the bazaar since there's no more stuff left to photograph Luckily someone took some pics, I just have to get my hands on them. Feels like the flu is finally catching up on me... :C

the annual Christmas Bazaar at our school closes in. I dont think that i can maintain the 365 project up to date as much as I would like since I have so much work with various products that I must craft until end of the month. I think I'll add a bunch of images later on such as concept sketches about the stuff I've made for the christmas bazaar. The products will be some wood-silver jewelry, various kitchenware and some bracelets. I was considering prints or christmas cards, but I dont have any nice ideas for those (or time) so I'll forget about them this year.

A bit bored so I decided to write something. What's up for me now? Pretty much the same old as ever, being in school, training budo, training painting etc. Stupid journal, I realize that I dont have anything happening in my life Well I have a plan to make a polyptych of 4 about seasonal dryads. The autumn one is already finished, 3 more to go.

My second journal/blog entry ever. I'm not very good at this stuff, but since there is a feature, why not use it? Right?
School began some weeks ago and enjoying it as always I've been quite excited since we're planning to go paint some graffiti with a friend of mine this sunday. (to a legitimate wall) I've never painted that kind of stuff and definately not that big so i'm really looking forward to it!
